Healthcare has always been a vital and sensitive sector of Industry. Its importance is multiplied in third world countries like Pakistan. Poverty and disease is wide spread in rural areas specially. People are primarily price conscious. Illiteracy adds to the gravity of the situation. Responsibility lies on the shoulders of Healthcare providers and the related industry. LMI joined the war against diseases in 1992. A rural location was selected on the out skirts of city of gardens and historical places, Lahore. Usually industrialization destroys natural habitats and plantations. In case of LMI it was the other way round. Gardens and orchards maintained in the premises add to the beauty of the nature.

1993: LMI introduced FLOCON, an infusion giving set, designed specially to fulfill the requirements of third world countries. High standards of quality and precision were maintained but economy was never ignored. FLOCON is now the brand of choice in Pakistan.

1994: In recent times viral diseases like AIDS and Hepatitis have threatened the whole world. A number of innocent victims get infected by using infected and un-sterilized syringes. LMI felt its responsibility and lent a hand in efforts against these deadly diseases by launching “INJEKT” (disposable syringes) family. INJEKT 5cc earned the reputation of one of the finest sterilized disposable syringes. It is now being used by all the major healthcare providers and Medical Institutions in Pakistan.

1998: FLOCON family grew as a new member was introduced. “FLOCON +”, it is basically an improved version of FLOCON. Its tube length is more than its precede which makes its use even more convenient. In addition to tube its chamber is also larger in size to make infusion administration easier. It is now recognized as a premium infusion giving set.

2000: INJEKT 3cc was the new addition to INJEKT family. Once again the product was produced with utmost care and precision. In a very short time INJEKT 3cc earned its own place in the market among the best available.

VisionOur Vision about Future

We at LMI work in the present, keeping in mind the experience of the past, to develop and secure a future we have worked for from the beginning. It is clearly depicted in the mission statement that we work as a team. All the members of the team, no matter what they are doing or what level of skill they possess or what level of hierarchy they are working at, have common objectives. We are always thriving for welfare of humanity. In the coming years we will expand our production capacity as well as facilities. New products will be introduced keeping in view the requirements of the population.

Pakistan is among the third world countries of the world. Medical disposable Industry is not so well developed as yet. Only a few companies are producing some of the medical disposables in Pakistan. We have a long list of disposable products in the pipeline. We will introduce them all in due course of time.

Medical Disposable Industry is extremely sensitive when it comes to quality and precision of products. Slight negligence or carelessness may lead to fatality. LMI has strict Quality Control systems engulfing product quality, production quality and environmental quality.

Highly qualified and professional quality control staff is well equipped with machines and apparatuses to make sure that quality in every aspect is at its best.

ISO9001: 2015:

All the technical staff is well aware of current Good Manufacturing Practices and standards set by British Pharmacopoeia (BP) and United States Pharmacopoeia (USP). Products are, therefore, produced accordingly. Products are carefully monitored at every stage of production process to check its compliance with standards at LMI.

The Quality Management System at LMI has received ISO 9001:2015 certificate. It is a testimony of LMI’s high standards of production and quality.

Environment Friendlyecological system

Industrialization has become a threat to environment and it is being debated and discussed at all levels. It causes water, air and noise pollution. LMI believes in conservation of environment and ecological system. “Charity begins at home” a famous proverb. Well developed and maintained Orchards and lush green lawns at our manufacturing facilities add to the beauty of the environment. Industrial wastes of LMI are none.

All the processes are environment friendly setting an example for other companies in the industry.
